Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle FDI Technical Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle Analytics, Data Warehousing, and ETL development. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Analytics solutions.
- Drive data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives utilizing Oracle FDI, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Design and develop enterprise reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical solutions to support business decision-making.
- Build and maintain semantic models, metadata repositories, and data models to support reporting requirements.
- Develop and execute ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and related Oracle technologies.
- Work extensively with Oracle Fusion data structures, including PVOs (Public View Objects), semantic models, and Fusion Analytics subject areas.
- Design and implement dimensional data models, star schemas, hierarchies, aggregations, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs), and other data warehousing concepts.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution activities.
- Create and maintain project documentation, technical specifications, solution design documents, and deployment guides.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, presentations, trackers, and executive-level updates.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior team members on technical best practices and project deliverables.
- Track team progress, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Support production environments by troubleshooting performance issues, data discrepancies, and reporting challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Analytics solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
- Mandatory experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL design and development.
- Expertise in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), reporting, dashboard development, and metadata modeling.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications data architecture, PVOs, and semantic modeling.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, SCDs, Aggregations, and Dimensional Modeling.
- Strong SQL and database development skills, preferably with Oracle Database.
- Experience in report design, development, and analytics solution implementation.
- Good understanding of SDLC methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in testing, defect management, and deployment activities.
- Exposure to BI Applications (BI Apps), RPD/Metadata Development, and enterprise reporting solutions is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, SCM, HCM, or CX analytics.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and enterprise reporting architectures.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior consultants.
- Oracle Analytics, ODI, or related Oracle certifications are an added advantage.
