Job Title: Oracle EBS R12 Financials – L2 Functional Consultant (P2P / Q2C / R2R)
Role Overview: Oracle EBS R12 L2 Functional Support Consultant provides second‑level functional support for financial modules across Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Quote‑to‑Cash (Q2C), and Record‑to‑Report (R2R). This Role focuses on resolving functional break-fix incidents and data integrity issues, primarily by executing well-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities include providing support during month-end close, assisting in smoke testing, performing in-depth root cause analysis for recurring & non-recurring issues, and supporting new enhancements/projects by taking knowledge transitions from the product teams, all while continuously identifying opportunities to automate these SOP-driven tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1.Act as L2 functional escalation point for Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules.
2.Analyze and resolve medium to complex functional issues that cannot be resolved by L1 support.
3.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and support permanent fixes.
4.Resolve functional break-fix calls either permanently or by workaround
5.Handle issues related to data in the production instance
6.Follow up on SRs, patches, and issues to ensure resolution
7.Conduct training for power users on the application and support functionalities
8.Conduct root cause analysis and error detection/correction
9.Provide 24/7 in-person or Zoom support for priority / critical day-to-day operational issues
10.Provide 24/7 in-person or Zoom support for month-close activities
11.Monitor integrations for data leakage and error handling
12.Perform smoke testing after planned/unplanned system outages to ensure stability
13.Resolve functional issues related to Oracle E-Business Suite modules such as:
I.Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process area across Purchasing, iProcurement, Payables, Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Inventory-related P2P flows.
II.Quote-To-Cash (Q2C) support across Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, AR, and related Q2C modules
III.Record-to-Report (R2R) process area across GL, FA, AP, AR, CE, and related sub-ledgers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
5–10 years of Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience.
Strong hands‑on expertise in:
oP2P: iProcurement, Purchasing, AP
oQ2C: OM, AR
oR2R: GL, SLA, FA
Deep understanding of end‑to‑end financial process flows and accounting impacts.
Ability to perform RCA and functional troubleshooting independently.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Experience working in a 24x7 or enterprise support environment
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and escalate issues effectively
