Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) environments on AIX (IBM UNIX)
Monitor system health and performance for databases and EBS application tiers
Perform routine operational activities including backups, restores, cloning, patching, and maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve common database, application, and OS-level issues; escalate complex issues as needed
Execute changes in accordance with established change management and operational procedures
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support production and non-production systems
Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation
Adhere to security, compliance, and audit requirements
Participate in on-call rotations and support scheduled maintenance windows
Assist with disaster recovery testing and operational readiness activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
35 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2)
Experience administering Oracle environments on AIX (IBM UNIX)
Working knowledge of database backup and recovery, cloning, patching, and routine operational support
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to follow defined operational and change management processes
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, enterprise IT environment
