Job Role- Oracle DBA(Cloud & Automation)
Location- Bangalore
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Oracle database administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and maintenance
- Perform backup and recovery (RMAN), ensuring data integrity and availability
- Implement and manage High Availability (RAC) and Disaster Recovery (Data Guard) solutions
- Monitor database and application performance; perform proactive troubleshooting and tuning
- Handle capacity planning, database security, and system health checks
- Execute patch management, upgrades, and database lifecycle activities
- Set up and maintain database monitoring and alerting systems
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
- Provide 24x7 production support (on-call rotation)
Required Skills
- Strong experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard (DG), and Backup & Recovery (RMAN)
- Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and proactive monitoring
- Experience working in AWS Cloud and On-Prem environments
- Strong knowledge of automation using CI/CD tools
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Exposure to Oracle GoldenGate (replication)
- Knowledge of other RDBMS / NoSQL databases is a plus
