Role Title: Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Lead – WMS (Warehouse Management)

Role Summary
The Oracle Fusion WMS Functional Lead is responsible for end-to-end ownership of Warehouse Management (WMS) capabilities within Oracle Fusion SCM across large-scale implementations and AMS engagements.
This role involves solution architecture, warehouse process optimization, integrations, governance, and stakeholder leadership, ensuring alignment with SOW deliverables, SLAs/KPIs, and enterprise supply chain strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Leadership & Architecture (WMS)
- Lead design and delivery of Oracle Fusion WMS capabilities:
- Inbound logistics: Receiving & Put-away
- Warehouse operations: Picking, Packing, Staging
- Outbound logistics: Shipping & Dispatch
- Inventory management: Cycle Counting & Stock Accuracy
- Define warehouse process frameworks:
- Slotting and replenishment strategies
- Picking methods (Wave, Batch, Cluster)
- Material handling processes
- Provide solution architecture aligned with Oracle best practices
2. Program Delivery – Implementation & AMS
Implementation Phase
- Lead:
- Requirement workshops
- Fit-Gap analysis
- To-Be design & Solution Design Documents (SDD)
- Oversee:
- System configuration
- Integrations
- Testing strategy (SIT, UAT)
- Defect management & business sign-off
- Manage:
- Cutover planning
- Go-live execution
- Hypercare & stabilization
AMS (Support) Delivery
- Govern L2/L3 support:
- Incident, Service Request & Change Management
- Monitor:
- SLA/KPI adherence
- MTTR (Mean Time to Resolve)
- Ticket closure rates & backlog
- Drive:
- Continuous Service Improvement (CSI)
- Automation initiatives
3. Warehouse Operations & Process Optimization
- Optimize:
- Warehouse throughput & operational efficiency
- Inventory accuracy & shrinkage reduction
- Implement:
- Barcode/RFID-based warehouse processes
- Workflow automation opportunities
- Ensure alignment with business KPIs and SLAs
4. Integration & Cross-Module Leadership
- Lead integrations with:
- Inventory
- Order Management
- Procurement
- Manufacturing
- Costing
- Collaborate with technical teams for:
- OIC-based integrations
- API & interface design
- Data synchronization
- Ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain process flow
5. Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to:
- SOW scope
- SLAs & KPIs
- Audit requirements
- Lead:
- Governance cadence, dashboards, reporting
- Risk identification & mitigation
- Escalation management
- Support:
- Audit readiness
- BCP (Business Continuity Plan)
- Compliance documentation
6. Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Act as Primary SME and Client Stakeholder for WMS
- Drive:
- Executive-level discussions
- Steering committee updates
- Manage:
- Onshore–offshore teams
- Cross-functional coordination
- Mentor:
- P2/P3/P4 consultants
- Ensure delivery quality and team capability growth
7. Testing, Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Review & approve:
- SDD, RTM, Fit-Gap documents
- Test strategy & scripts
- UAT signoffs
- Ensure:
- Audit-ready documentation
- Standardized and SOW-compliant deliverables
