We are looking for an Oracle Cloud Platform Engineer to support the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) components. This role focuses on operational support, monitoring, basic development, and troubleshooting across Oracle integration, analytics, database, security, and cloud infrastructure services, under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oracle Integration & Application Support
- Provide support for integrations built using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Monitor integration executions, API availability, failures, and performance issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting integration issues and coordinate with senior team members for resolution.
- Support deployment and configuration activities related to integration components.
2. Oracle APEX & Visual Builder Support
- Assist in basic development, enhancement, and maintenance activities in Oracle APEX.
- Support UI and application development tasks using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Perform minor bug fixes and assist in application performance improvements.
3. Monitoring & Operational Support
- Monitor OCI and PaaS environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Support incident management and follow defined escalation processes.
- Assist in proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud platform services.
- Support routine maintenance tasks including patching, backup validation, and environment health checks.
4. Troubleshooting & Documentation
- Identify root causes of application and platform issues and provide solutions under supervision.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and issue logs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and service improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle PaaS services.
- Experience or knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Basic understanding of Oracle APEX and Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring, ticketing tools, and incident resolution processes.
- Understanding of databases, APIs, and integration concepts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a support-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- Basic understanding of security, IAM roles, policies, and networking in OCI.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
- Oracle Cloud certifications (good to have).
