Oracle Cloud OTM Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)
Travel Requirement: Candidates should be open to travelling within the Middle East region based on project/client requirements.
Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Oracle Cloud OTM Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementations, integrations, transportation planning, and logistics execution processes. The role requires a balanced techno-functional background with hands-on experience in enterprise-level Oracle OTM Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in end-to-end Oracle OTM Cloud implementations aligned with business requirements
• Drive solution design, prototype configuration, documentation, testing, and deployment activities
• Configure and manage core OTM modules including:
- Transportation Planning
- Shipment Management
- Automation Agents & Event Management
- Workflow Automation
- • Design and implement OTM integrations using:
- Business Object Mapping
- EDI/XML/Transmission Management
- Data transformation and orchestration
- Analyze and implement Change Requests (CRs) with impact assessment
- Develop custom extensions/components to address business requirements
- Build and optimize BI Publisher and Fusion Transportation Intelligence (FTI) reports
Provide go-live and post-production support
- Conduct UAT support and end-user training sessions
- Perform OTM performance tuning and optimization activities
- Participate in solution demos, presales discussions, and technical proposals
- Ensure knowledge sharing and best practice adherence across teams
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
• Minimum 2–3 end-to-end OTM implementation experience
• Experience in Retail, Manufacturing, or Logistics domain preferred
• Strong working knowledge of:
- Transportation Planning & Execution
- Shipment Management
- Logistics lifecycle and workflows
- Automation Agents configurations
- Complex itinerary and rate configurations
- Experience in:
- Strong exposure to OTM integrations with EDI/API service providers for:
- Tender Management
- Documentation Management
- Invoice Processing
- Experience in Oracle EBS/ERP integrations; Oracle WMS integration is an added advantage
- Strong expertise in:
- OTM Data Model (6.x)
- XML Schema
- Transmission Management
- OTM Interfaces & Integration Architecture
- Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and data analysis
- Experience in:
- BI Publisher Reports
- Oracle Analytics Cloud Reports
- Fusion Transportation Intelligence (FTI)
- Experience in OTM performance tuning and optimization
- Experience in Complex Manager Layout configurations
- Experience in Stylesheets for custom email communication templates
Good to Have Skills:
• Experience in Macro-based data upload to OTM
• Experience in India-region OTM implementations
• Integration experience with mParivahan or similar government portals
• SMS and WhatsApp notification integrations within OTM
• Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services
