The Oracle Cloud Data Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of data pipelines. Key tasks include data modeling, building ETL processes, creating and maintaining data warehouses, and performing data analytics. The role requires close collaboration with teams to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and enhance decision-making capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) data services
- Hands-on experience with Cloudera / Hadoop ecosystem
- Experience with Denodo (data virtualisation and integration)
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
