Role Description The Oracle ASCP Functional Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for leading Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) initiatives, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for supply chain and planning processes. The Oracle ASCP Functional Lead partners closely with business stakeholders to translate planning and forecasting needs into scalable Oracle ASCP solutions, troubleshoot functional issues, and optimize system performance. Daily activities include preparing functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams, managing enhancements, conducting user training, and supporting production environments through incident resolution and continuous improvement. The role also involves documenting best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, and contributing to project planning and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Strong Oracle ASCP functional expertise, including configuration, process design, and integration with core Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle ERP modules.
- Hands-on experience with supply chain planning processes such as demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, MRP/DRP, and production scheduling.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process mapping, functional documentation, and user acceptance testing within an enterprise environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business users, technical developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Experience supporting full project life cycle activities (analysis, design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support) in Oracle-based implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose functional issues and propose practical, scalable solutions.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written documentation and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; relevant Oracle certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry domains using Oracle ASCP or related planning tools is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business and technology needs.
