POSITION OVERVIEW : Oracle SCM + ASCP Consultant
7+ years POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : The Oracle SCM + ASCP Consultant is responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle E?Business Suite Supply Chain modules along with Advanced Supply Chain Planning. The role blends functional expertise, planning process knowledge, and hands?on configuration skills to help organizations optimize procurement, inventory, order management, and end?to?end planning cycles. Supply Chain Functional ResponsibilitiesLead solution design and configuration for SCM modules such as:Inventory (INV) Purchasing (PO) Order Management (OM) Bills of Material (BOM) Work in Process (WIP) Cost Management (CST)Analyze business processes and map them to Oracle EBS capabilities. Configure setups, define item attributes, sourcing rules, ASL, BOM structures, routings, and costing setups. Support end?to?end SCM flows: procure?to?pay, order?to?cash, plan?to?produce.? ASCP / Planning ResponsibilitiesImplement and support Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP). Configure planning parameters: planning methods, MRP/MPS setups, calendars, ATP rules, forecast consumption, and planning options. Build and maintain Sourcing Rules, Assignment Sets, Planning Bill, Forecasts, and Collections. Troubleshoot ASCP plan runs, performance issues, and data collection errors. Analyze planning outputs (exceptions, recommendations, pegging) and work with business teams to validate results. Support integration between ASCP and SCM modules (INV, BOM, WIP, PO, OM).? Technical & Cross?Functional CollaborationWork with technical teams to support RICEW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions). Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and planning teams to align system behavior with business needs. Participate in upgrades, patching cycles, and regression testing. Prepare functional documents (BR100, MD050, MD070) and test scripts.?? Support & Project DeliveryProvide L2/L3 support for SCM and ASCP issues.
