About us
We're a technology company focused on Enterprise Delivery and Engineering. We work and partner with global organisations to deliver enterprise cloud solutions, while our engineering teams design, build, operate, and manage modern web applications, AI-driven tools, and scalable cloud infrastructure — for both our clients and our own platforms.
Led by hands-on, technically experienced founders, we move quickly, make decisions efficiently, and value the impact of every individual contribution. Since 2016, we've built a strong track record and are now entering an exciting phase of growth — making this a great time to join the business.
About the role
We're looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain custom extensions, modern web applications, and integration layers. In this mid-to-senior role, you will bridge the gap between core enterprise data and modern, user-centric web applications.
You'll take ownership of the full application lifecycle within our modern technology estate. This is an ideal position for a developer who excels at writing clean, high-performance PL/SQL, designing intuitive user interfaces in APEX, and integrating custom solutions with larger Oracle Cloud ERP or EBS ecosystems. You will have the autonomy to drive technical decisions, mentor junior team members, and directly influence our application architecture.
What you'll do
Application development — design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and responsive web applications using Oracle APEX (Application Express); translate complex business requirements into high-performing, user-friendly solutions.
Database programming — write advanced, optimised SQL and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, and triggers); perform database tuning, query optimisation, and schema design to ensure peak application performance.
Integration & APIs — build and consume RESTful web services using ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) to connect APEX applications with internal tools, third-party SaaS platforms, and enterprise cloud applications.
UI/UX customisation — customise APEX Universal Theme using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver seamless, modern user experiences that break away from standard "out-of-the-box" layouts.
Security & deployment — implement robust authentication and authorisation schemes (including SSO/OAuth integrations); manage application deployment pipelines, version control, and environment administration.
Mentorship & best practices — establish, document, and champion clean coding standards, security guardrails, and code review processes within the development team.
About you
Essential
- Core APEX expertise — 4+ years of professional experience building enterprise-grade applications using Oracle APEX.
- Advanced database skills — mastery of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including a deep understanding of collections, analytical functions, bulk processing, and performance tuning.
- Web fundamentals — solid proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX to enhance APEX front-end behaviour and responsiveness.
- ORDS & REST — proven experience designing, securing, and implementing RESTful APIs via Oracle REST Data Services.
- Git fluency — comfortable managing code, branches, and merge requests within a git-based version control workflow.
Desirable
- Enterprise integration — prior experience extending or integrating APEX applications with Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, HCM, or Oracle EBS modules.
- CI/CD & Cloud — familiarity with automated deployment pipelines for APEX or experience hosting database workloads on major cloud platforms (OCI, AWS).
- Modern front-end — exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries for custom data visualisations.
Personal attributes
- Problem-solving mindset — strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to debugging complex database or front-end issues.
- Ownership & drive — a keen sense of accountability; comfortable taking a project from an ambiguous spec to a polished, production-ready release.
- Collaborative communicator — ability to articulate technical structures clearly to both engineering colleagues and functional business stakeholders.
What we offer
- Technical ownership — the opportunity to lead the design and architecture of critical internal and client-facing applications.
- Direct access to leadership — work within a flat structure alongside technically experienced founders where decisions are made quickly and great ideas are fast-tracked.
- Growth & mentorship — a clear path to expand your skills into broader cloud infrastructure, AI integrations, or technical leadership.
- Competitive compensation — a salary matching your experience level, with structured regular reviews as the business expands.
Practicalities
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India.
- Working hours: standard full-time hours with flexible parameters. Occasional scheduled maintenance or deployment windows may fall out-of-hours, shared equitably across the team.
- Probation: standard three-month probation period with structured monthly check-ins to support your transition.
