We are hiring an Oracle ADF Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise web applications using Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable UI and business components, integrating with Oracle backend systems, and supporting enhancements/testing across environments.
Key Responsibilities
ADF Application Development
- Design and develop enterprise web applications using Oracle ADF (ADF BC, ADF Faces, ADF Controller)
- Build user interfaces using ADF Faces Rich Client components
- Develop ADF Business Components including:
- Entity Objects (EO)
- View Objects (VO)
- Application Modules (AM)
- Implement task flows, page navigation, UI validations, and binding logic
Backend Integration
- Integrate ADF applications with:
- Oracle Database
- Oracle backend services (EBS / Fusion)
- REST/SOAP Web Services
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL logic, database objects, and queries
- Handle data binding, transactions, exception handling, and performance optimization
Enhancements & Maintenance
- Work on enhancements, change requests, and bug fixes
- Perform impact analysis for new requirements/code changes
- Support SIT/UAT defect fixes and production support issues
Testing & Deployment Support
- Perform unit testing and support System Testing/UAT
- Assist in deployments across DEV / TEST / UAT / PROD
- Support release management and deployment documentation
Documentation & Collaboration
- Prepare and maintain:
- Technical Design Documents (TDD)
- Code documentation and configuration details
- Collaborate with functional consultants, DBAs, and infrastructure teams
- Follow coding standards and governance processes
Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
- 3–6 years of hands-on Oracle ADF Development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- ADF BC (EO, VO, AM)
- ADF Faces
- Task Flows / Page Flows
- Good knowledge of:
- Java, JDeveloper
- SQL & PL/SQL
- Experience working with Oracle Database
- Understanding of SDLC and support/enhancement models
Good to Have Skills
- Exposure to Oracle EBS integration
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion services/extensions
- Experience with REST/SOAP services
- ADF performance tuning and debugging
- Basic understanding of security roles and access controls
