Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Optometrist & Senior Optometrist role, based in Bengaluru. The role involves conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual impairments, providing vision correction solutions, and prescribing appropriate corrective measures such as eyeglasses or contact lenses. The candidate will also be responsible for counseling patients about proper eye care practices, maintaining accurate patient records, and working collaboratively with store teams to deliver excellent customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting eye check-ups and diagnosing refractive errors, including expertise in refraction, keratometry, and eye testing equipment usage.
- Strong knowledge of prescribing corrective eyewear and contact lenses, along with expertise in patient counseling regarding eye health and optical product options.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide superior patient care and collaborate with team members effectively.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in optometry and eye care.
- Educational qualifications: A degree or diploma in Optometry is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within retail optometry, is highly desirable.
