Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Optometrist will conduct eye examinations, diagnose vision issues, and prescribe corrective solutions like glasses or contact lenses. They will provide expert advice to customers on vision care and eyewear products, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to the highest professional standards. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of patient history and collaborating with the retail team to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing visual impairments
- Capability to prescribe and dispense corrective lenses and provide recommendations for corrective treatments
- Knowledge of customer care practices and the ability to offer tailored eyewear solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills to manage patient appointments and store operations efficiently
- Postgraduate degree or diploma in Optometry or a related field
- Clinical experience within optometry or a related healthcare setting is highly advantageous
