Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnose refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism)
- Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses
- Detect early signs of eye diseases (glaucoma, cataract, etc.)
- Perform visual acuity and refraction tests
- Assist in pre- and post-operative care (if working in hospital setup)
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports
- Educate patients on eye care and hygiene
Qualification Preferred - Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) / Diploma in Optometry
