Role Description
We are seeking an Freshers and dedicated Optometrist for a full-time, on-site position located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting vision tests, diagnosing eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing personalized eye care solutions. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on eye health and recommending preventive measures to maintain optimal vision. The role requires a commitment to the highest standards of professional care and empathy for our diverse clientele.
Qualifications
- Expertise in conducting comprehensive eye and vision examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and diagnosing a range of eye conditions.
- Proficiency in patient education, including the ability to explain eye health, preventive care, and treatment options clearly and empathetically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all age groups and backgrounds.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards of care.
- Proficiency with vision care equipment and tools, along with knowledge of the latest advancements in optometry.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and valid Optometry license in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Experience in retail or corporate eye care settings is an advantage.
