Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinical Optometrist at Baath Eye Care Centre, located in Punjab, India. The Clinical Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing visual and optical conditions, providing pre- and post-operative care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop tailored patient care plans. Additional duties may include training patients on proper eye health practices, assisting with clinical research activities, and keeping detailed, accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and collaboration with other healthcare team members
- Strong foundation in Medicine and specialized knowledge in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases and visual conditions
- Experience in providing Training, such as educating patients on eye health or mentoring junior staff
- Proficiency in Research and Clinical Research methodologies related to eye care and vision science
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- License or certification to practice as an Optometrist in India
- Familiarity with the latest diagnostic tools and eye care technologies
