Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the design and development of optical systems, components, and lighting products for various applications.
- Conducting experiments and tests in the laboratory, including the testing of prototypes, to measure and analyze optical properties such as light intensity, luminance, color, and more.
- Collaborating with senior optical engineers to perform photometric simulations and calculations to determine illuminance requirements and ensure product compliance.
- Participating in the design and development of optical components such as lenses, reflectors, light guides, and optical coatings.
- Operating optical modeling and analysis tools, such as Helios software, to support design and development activities.
- Assisting in LED modeling and analysis, including power budget calculations, reliability assessments, color stability, and aging correction.
- Contributing to the creation of schematics and providing support for PCB layout design.
- Identifying alternative components, materials, and processes for existing optical designs when necessary.
- Collaborating closely with the engineering team, project managers, and designers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Demonstrating proficiency in using MS tools for documentation and data analysis.
- Applying strong problem-solving and analytical skills to overcome technical challenges.
- Maintaining effective communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with colleagues

Work Experience
Additional Preferences:
- Knowledge in writing small codes for testing automation will be preferred.
- Knowledge in Lab View, Matlab and C.
