Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar for an OPT Recruiter at MetaxurX Technologies. The OPT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, scheduling interviews, and onboarding students under the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program. They will build relationships with candidates, liaise with educational institutions, and stay updated on immigration and employment regulations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining candidate databases, drafting job descriptions, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and rules.
Qualifications
- Recruiting and Sourcing: Experience in sourcing and recruiting candidates, including relationship-building with students and employers.
- Knowledge of Employment Regulations: Familiarity with the OPT process, visa requirements, and compliance related to international students.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with candidates, educational institutions, and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, ability to maintain candidate records, and proficiency in meeting deadlines.
Interpersonal Skills: A collaborative mindset and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience working with international students, recruitment, or HR is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with recruitment platforms, databases, and tools to manage workflows efficiently.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related fields is preferred.
