Position: OPT Recruiter (Junior Executive)
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated OPT Recruiter (Junior Executive) to join our growing US Staffing team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about talent acquisition, networking, and building strong relationships with international students and recent graduates seeking career opportunities in the US IT industry.
The recruiter will play a key role in identifying, screening, and onboarding high potential OPT/CPT candidates into the company’s internal bench while ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
i. Source candidates from university portals, LinkedIn, and job
boards (DICE, Monster).
ii. Screen candidates for technical competency and visa
eligibility.
iii. Explain the company's bench model and "sell" the benefits of
joining the firm.
iv. Coordinate with the Onboarding Specialist to ensure a
smooth transition of the candidate.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in US IT Recruitment or OPT Recruiting.
- Basic understanding of:
- US Staffing process
- OPT/CPT/H1B visa categories
- Recruitment lifecycle
- Bench sales process
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, DICE, Monster, and other sourcing platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Good negotiation and convincing skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of US IT technologies and skill sets.
- Experience working with international students or fresh graduates.
- Understanding of compliance and onboarding processes.
- Social media sourcing experience is a plus.
