Role Description:
AtomLeap AI Technologies is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic OPT Recruiter to join our growing team in Hyderabad.
The OPT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, screening, and coordinating OPT (Optional Practical Training) candidates for technology-focused opportunities in the United States.
This role involves building and maintaining relationships with international students, universities, training partners, and potential employers while managing recruitment activities, including candidate outreach, initial screening, interview coordination, and offer follow-ups.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, an interest in U.S. recruitment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in US recruitment are also encouraged to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Source and engage OPT and STEM OPT candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, university networks, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of international students and technology professionals seeking U.S. career opportunities.
- Conduct initial candidate screening to understand educational background, technical skills, graduation timelines, availability, and career interests.
- Coordinate candidate profiles, resume collection, follow-ups, interview scheduling, and submissions for relevant opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with university representatives, student communities, training partners, and potential employer networks.
- Understand basic F-1, OPT, STEM OPT, and H-1B processes and identify when candidate queries require specialist guidance.
- Conduct candidate outreach, informational sessions, and career-readiness discussions.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment databases, and pipeline updates using ATS, CRM, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align candidate sourcing activities with training programs and employer requirements.
- Monitor daily and weekly sourcing, engagement, and recruitment pipeline targets.
- Provide regular recruitment updates, reports, and progress metrics to the management team.
Required skills & Qualifications:
- Around 1 year of experience in OPT recruitment, US IT recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or a related recruitment role is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn US recruitment may also apply.
- Understanding of OPT, STEM OPT, F-1 visa processes, and U.S. hiring practices is an advantage.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, and other candidate sourcing platforms is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good candidate engagement, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to screen resumes, understand job requirements, and identify suitable candidates.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, ATS, or CRM tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international students or university recruitment networks.
- Familiarity with U.S. technology roles and IT recruitment terminology.
- Ability to conduct candidate presentations, informational sessions, and career-readiness workshops.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with recruitment targets.
Work Details:
- Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana.
- Work Mode: Completely On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-Time.
- Shift: US Night Shift (7.30PM to 4.30AM)
- Experience: 1 Year Preferred.
- Joining: Immediate joiners preferred.
