About the role

Job Title : QA Automation Engineer

Experience : 3-4 Years

Location : Gurgaon (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java for UI and API testing.
Create, execute, and manage automated test scripts using Selenium (with POM design pattern) and Rest Assured.
Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Debug and resolve issues related to automation, scripting, and frameworks.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the test automation process.
Analyze requirements and formulate effective test scenarios and cases.
Contribute to enhancing CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test cases.
Execute UI and API functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
Strong expertise in Java, with solid understanding of OOPS concepts.
Proficient in Java Collections (including HashMap and other core data structures).
Good coding and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for UI testing.
Strong hands-on experience in API automation using Rest Assured.
Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
Good understanding of software testing lifecycle, agile methodologies, and best automation practices.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
