Role Overview
We are looking for a highly reliable and structured Ops Platform Engineer to ensure the day-to-day stability, reliability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure platforms. This role is focused on DevOps operations, system administration, and maintaining complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure stability and performance of enterprise infrastructure platforms
- Perform routine system administration across Linux environments (CLI usage, troubleshooting, system maintenance)
- Manage and monitor Jenkins pipelines (job execution, plugin installation/upgrades, troubleshooting)
- Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Apply and execute Ansible playbooks for infrastructure deployment
- Perform version control tasks using Git and GitHub Enterprise
- Handle incidents and tickets in Jira with accurate tracking and timely resolution
- Work within enterprise environments involving corporate networks, firewalls, proxies, VMs, and APIs
- Collaborate within DevOps and Scrum-based teams
- Escalate operational issues proactively as per defined procedures
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years in IT Operations / System Administration (enterprise environments preferred)
- Strong Linux expertise (command line, troubleshooting, system maintenance)
- Jenkins: Pipeline execution, plugin management, monitoring, troubleshooting
- Docker: Container management and issue handling
- Kubernetes: Operational usage and troubleshooting
- Ansible: Executing existing playbooks
- Git & GitHub Enterprise (day-to-day usage)
- Jira for incident/change management
- Experience working in corporate network environments (firewalls, proxies, VMs, APIs)
- Familiarity with DevOps and Scrum methodologies
