Procurement Manager – RM/PM & 3P OperationsJob Summary
Experienced Procurement Manager with expertise in handling RM (Raw Material), PM (Packaging Material), and 3P Operations within FMCG/Food/Spices industries. Skilled in strategic sourcing, vendor development, commercial negotiations, contract manufacturing management, and cost optimization initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesRaw Material (RM) Procurement
- Procurement of spices, herbs, seasonings, food ingredients, and other raw materials
- Vendor identification and supplier development
- Rate contract finalization and annual price negotiations
- Monitoring commodity market trends and price fluctuations
- Ensuring timely availability of materials to avoid production disruptions
Packaging Material (PM) Procurement
- Procurement of laminates, mono cartons, labels, pouches, PET jars, corrugated boxes, etc.
- Coordination with packaging vendors for artwork and specification approvals
- Cost optimization and alternate vendor development
- Inventory planning and material reconciliation
3P / Third-Party Operations
- Handling contract manufacturers, co-packers, and job work units
- Commercial negotiations with 3P vendors
- Capacity planning and production coordination
- Monitoring manufacturing schedules, dispatches, and service levels
- Ensuring compliance with QA and food safety standards
Price Negotiation & Commercials
- Strong experience in price negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers
- Conducting cost analysis and benchmarking
- Finalizing commercial terms, payment terms, and contracts
- Driving annual cost-saving initiatives and procurement efficiency
- Managing RFQ/RFP processes and vendor comparison
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordination with Supply Chain, QA, Production, Finance, and Sales teams
- Forecast planning and procurement scheduling
- Ensuring smooth inward and inventory management
