Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmologist for a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. The Ophthalmologist will diagnose and treat visual system disorders, perform eye exams, and manage conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma. The role involves conducting surgical procedures, prescribing corrective measures (glasses, contacts, or medications), and utilizing advanced techniques like laser treatments. Providing patient education on eye care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Ophthalmology, including diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions
- Knowledge and experience in Medicine and Optometry, with the ability to recommend appropriate corrective methods
- Proficiency in performing Laser procedures and Ophthalmic Surgeries
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and decision-making skills in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution
- Valid medical license to practice in India, with relevant experience in a clinical or hospital setting
