Role Description The Operator Supervisor role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing daily operations of access platform operators and ensuring safe, efficient use of equipment. The supervisor monitors work schedules, assigns tasks, and coordinates with operations, logistics, and service teams to support timely dispatch and utilization of the fleet. Day-to-day activities include tracking performance, enforcing safety standards, conducting remote checks and reporting, and resolving operational issues in coordination with on-site personnel. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting training initiatives, and communicating clearly with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure service quality and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
Operational supervision and coordination skills, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and workflow management.
Knowledge of access platforms or heavy equipment operations, including basic technical understanding and safety standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage operators remotely and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Organizational and reporting skills, including documentation, scheduling, and use of digital tools or fleet management systems.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational issues and support service continuity.
Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial services, or related sectors is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with reliable internet access and proficiency in standard office software.
Relevant vocational training or a diploma/degree in operations management, engineering, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
