Role Description The Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based at the manufacturing facility in Kanpur. The Operator will set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in aluminum wheel production, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include loading materials, checking machine parameters, performing basic adjustments, and ensuring products meet quality specifications through visual checks and measurements. The Operator will record production data, report any equipment issues, and support routine cleaning and minor maintenance of machines. Collaboration with supervisors, maintenance teams, and quality control staff is expected to maintain smooth production flow and meet output targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess practical skills in operating industrial or manufacturing machinery, with the ability to follow standardized work instructions.
- Candidates should possess basic technical and mechanical understanding, including the ability to identify simple equipment faults and support routine maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and basic quality control skills, including visual inspection and measurement of parts to meet specifications.
- Candidates should possess awareness of workplace safety practices, including safe handling of materials, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, quality teams, and co-workers on the production line.
- Minimum educational qualification: secondary school certificate or equivalent; vocational training or ITI in a relevant trade (e.g., fitter, machinist) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in automotive, metalworking, or manufacturing environments is preferred but motivated entry-level candidates may be considered.
- Ability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and meet physical requirements typical of a factory setting.
