Role Description This full-time Operator role is an on-site position based in Gurugram. The Operator will be responsible for running and monitoring manufacturing machinery, following production schedules, and ensuring components are produced to required specifications. Daily tasks include setting up equipment, performing basic inspections and quality checks, recording production data, and reporting issues or deviations to supervisors. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety and compliance procedures, and supporting team members to meet production targets. The Operator may assist with minor machine adjustments, materials handling, and coordination with quality and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Basic understanding of industrial production processes, preferably in automotive, metal works, plastic components, or related sectors.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production orders, and basic technical drawings or specifications.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with basic quality checks, measurements, and inspection methods.
- Commitment to workplace safety, proper use of PPE, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills to work effectively on the shop floor.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage; vocational training or technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
