Job Title: Oracle Operational Research Specialist
Duration: 4 Weeks (Contract)
We are looking for Operational Research Specialists with strong expertise in mathematical optimization and analytical modeling to support a short-term project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on optimization problems using advanced mathematical techniques
- Develop, validate, and debug complex mathematical models
- Analyze and refine optimization formulations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Identify logical or structural issues within models and provide solutions
- Collaborate with teams to improve model performance and reliability
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Linear Programming (LP)
- Experience with Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP)
- Experience with Non-Linear Programming (NLP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to validate mathematical formulations and debug complex optimization models
- High attention to detail in identifying hidden logical issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle optimization tools or related Operations Research platforms
- Academic or professional background in Operations Research, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
Engagement Expectations:
- Availability of 40 hours/week
- 4 hours overlap with PST time zone required
