Role Description The Delivery & Operations Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi, responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery and daily operational activities for solar installations and related services. This role includes planning and coordinating installation schedules, supervising field teams and contractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The individual will monitor operational performance, manage inventory and logistics for equipment and materials, and implement quality standards and process improvements. The role also involves liaising with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, handling documentation and compliance, and resolving operational issues in a timely manner. The Delivery & Operations Lead will be expected to maintain accurate reporting, support ongoing maintenance contracts, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong operational and project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of field projects.
- Experience in delivery management, logistics, and resource allocation, preferably within renewable energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Ability to lead on-site teams, manage vendors and contractors, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
- Proficiency in using project tracking tools, spreadsheets, and basic software for documentation, reporting, and workflow management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers, technical teams, and management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and resolving operational issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field; relevant certifications in project management or renewable energy are an advantage.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems or willingness to rapidly learn solar operations and technical fundamentals.
- Ability to work on-site in South Delhi, with flexibility to visit project locations as required.
