We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations & Processing Team Lead to join our growing international recruitment and migration operations team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for professionals from a recruitment, migration, education consultancy, visa processing, or overseas placement background who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy leading high-performing teams.
The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for processing selected candidates for overseas automotive placements, ensuring smooth operations, strong turnaround times, compliance, and target achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a processing and operations team of approximately 5 staff members
- Manage end-to-end candidate processing for overseas automotive recruitment projects
- Monitor team productivity, processing timelines, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Ensure smooth coordination between recruitment teams, candidates, employers, and offshore stakeholders
- Track candidate movement across all stages of processing and maintain regular status updates
- Identify bottlenecks in operations and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and turnaround times
- Set team targets and ensure consistent achievement of operational KPIs and service standards
- Conduct regular team reviews, performance monitoring, and staff mentoring
- Ensure compliance with visa, migration, documentation, and employer requirements
- Handle escalations professionally and maintain high levels of candidate experience and stakeholder communication
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to senior management
Requirements
- Prior experience in recruitment, migration, visa processing, overseas education, or international placement services is essential
- Candidates from organisations such as visa service providers, migration agencies, IDP-type consultancies, overseas recruitment firms, or similar industries are strongly preferred
- Minimum experience managing or leading a team of 4 to 6 staff members
- Strong understanding of candidate processing workflows and operational coordination
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage targets, deadlines, and multiple candidate pipelines simultaneously
- Strong organisational and documentation management abilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and operational reporting
