Job details:
Operations Manager, E-commerce
Company: Sol Pudding
Location: Mumbai (Lower Parel) – Onsite
Employment Type: Full-Time (Mid-Senior level)
Experience Required: 4–7 Years
Reports To: Founders
Role Overview
Sol Pudding is an early-stage consumer brand on a fast growth curve. We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Operations Manager to sit within the Founder's Office—part chief-of-staff, part operator. You'll keep the business running tightly day to day while driving the projects that decide where we go next, including new product development (NPD). This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role for someone who likes ambiguity and getting things done.
What You'll Do
* Operations: Run core operations across supply chain, inventory, vendors, and fulfilment so the business runs on time and on budget.
* Founder's Office: Act as a force multiplier for the founders—own special projects, prep key decisions, track priorities, and close the loop on follow-ups.
* NPD (New Product Development): Partner on new product development from concept to launch—coordinating R&D, sampling, sourcing, costing, and go-to-market timelines.
* Process & Systems: Build the systems, SOPs, and dashboards that let a small team scale without chaos.
* Vendors: Manage and negotiate with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and service partners.
* Numbers: Turn data into decisions—track unit economics, margins, and operational KPIs, and flag what needs attention.
* Cross-Functional Glue: Coordinate across marketing, sales, and production so launches and campaigns land smoothly.
What We're Looking For
* 4–7 years in operations, founder's office, chief-of-staff, consulting, or a high-growth startup role.
* A true generalist who can zoom from spreadsheet to shop floor and back in the same day.
* Strong project management skills and the instinct to bring structure to messy, undefined problems.
* Comfort with numbers—costing, margins, and basic financial modelling.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management; you make things happen through others.
* Bias for action, high ownership, and genuine excitement about building a consumer brand from the ground up.
* Strong Plus: Experience working with Amazon/Flipkart seller operations, warehousing workflows, or marketplace inventory management.
* Bonus: Experience in F&B, FMCG, or D2C, and exposure to product development or supply chain.
Why Join Sol
A front-row seat to building a brand, direct exposure to the founders, and the room to grow into a broader leadership role as we scale. If you want range, ownership, and impact, this is for you.
