Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager role based in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring all technical personnel possess the required knowledge/skills to carry out his duty;
- Work out the Operation Budget on annual basis for all Operations sites;
- Monitor operations costs on monthly basis;
- Plan and lead improvements for operations in terms of efficiency programs and safety compliance;
- Monitor personnel training progress status;
- Plan and manage subordinates development;
- Management of all departments to ensure that all operations related projects are executed safely, on time, within budget and meet customers’ expectations
- Ensure products produce meet or exceed customer’s expectations with compliance of Quality Management System and/or Food Safety Management System (FSSC);
- To ensure that the established processes of ISO Management System are implemented and maintained including planning and conducting internal audits;
- Responsible for the overall management and operation of the entire project assigned;
- Coordinate prospect client enquiries, participate in client bidding, and provide effective engineering solution to client;
- Involve in system design and project costing work. Communication with equipment/plant experts to enable good cost-effective design and engineering solution;
- Compile contractor/supplier technical and commercial proposal, including tender preparation, evaluation, award, execution and follow up;
- Prepare procurement technical specifications;
- Project planning and organization in term of schedule, resources and labour;
- Maintains safe and clear working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations;
- To coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients, consultants and subcontractors in project execution;
- To ensure the project schedule and budget is met;
- Provide technical support for commissioning and operations team;
- To perform any additional task that assigned by Management as and when required.
Academic Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related courses.
Experience / Skill Requirement
- Minimum 10 years working experience in operations or project in Industrial Gas or similar field;
- Good leadership;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with all levels.
