Objective of the Role -
To ensure smooth, efficient, guest-focused, and professionally managed operations across all ILIF Hotels & Resorts properties while maintaining operational standards, service quality, property upkeep, and owner satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities -
- Daily Hotel Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all assigned properties.
- Monitor guest check-ins, check-outs, occupancy status, and room readiness.
- Maintain operational discipline and hospitality standards.
- Inventory & Front Office Coordination
- Review daily room inventory, arrivals, departures, and occupancy updates.
- Monitor updates from front desk managers on common operational WhatsApp groups.
- Coordinate with the central reservation team regarding bookings and room allocation.
- OTA & Guest Escalation Management
- Coordinate with OTA customer care teams regarding refunds, cancellations, modifications, and guest complaints.
- Resolve escalated guest issues when not handled at the property level.
- Housekeeping Operations
- Monitor housekeeping checklists and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure rooms and public areas are maintained professionally.
- Monitor staff grooming, uniforms, and discipline.
- Maintenance & Property Upkeep
- Monitor electrical, plumbing, AC, pool, garden, sewage, and drainage systems.
- Conduct regular meetings with property managers to improve maintenance standards and smooth operations.
- Store & Inventory Management
- Take regular updates from the store manager regarding operational inventory.
- Ensure daily inventory entries are maintained for kitchen materials, raw materials, cleaning materials, mineral water, fish, chicken, vegetables, groceries, and guest supplies.
- Coordinate with multiple vendors and monitor stock movement.
- Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for smooth operational support.
- Monitor service quality and pending vendor work.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding vendor bills and settlement updates.
- Team Management & Coordination
- Conduct regular meetings with property managers and operational teams.
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments and properties.
- Maintain staff discipline, uniforms, and professional conduct.
- MIS Reporting & Operational Monitoring
- Review daily MIS reports and operational updates.
- Monitor occupancy, maintenance status, guest feedback, and operational performance.
- Creative & Brand Coordination
- Take updates from reel creators and content teams regarding property shoots and social media content.
- Ensure properties are maintained according to ILIF brand standards.
- Garden & Property Ambience Management
- Ensure proper maintenance of gardens, lawns, plants, and outdoor ambience across all properties.
- Owner & Client Relationship Management
- Maintain professional relationships with hotel owners and partners.
- Conduct operational review meetings and provide regular updates.
- Coordination with Corporate Office
- Maintain regular coordination with ILIF Hotels & Resorts corporate office.
- Coordinate with reservations, accounts, HR, marketing, procurement, and management teams.
- Ensure implementation of operational SOPs and company policies across all properties.
Position Summary -
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple ILIF Hotels & Resorts properties. The role includes managing guest experience, operational coordination, maintenance, housekeeping, vendor management, inventory systems, OTA escalations, and coordination with corporate office teams to ensure smooth and professional hotel operations.
About Company: ILIF Hotels and Resorts is a hotel chain based in Maharashtra with a network of about 50 franchised and leased hotels, resorts, and vacation properties with approximately 500+ rooms. We operate hotels ranging from upscale to economy. With a sharp aim to cater to vacationers, the chain properties are near sightseeing places. The properties under this chain maintain certain quality standards by offering amenities like a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, an in-house restaurant, CCTV surveillance, and more.
