Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager/General Manager role located in Munnar. The role involves overseeing daily operations, implementing effective business strategies, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include managing the resort staff, ensuring operational efficiency, achieving financial targets, and maintaining high service standards. The individual will also focus on promoting sustainability and aligning operations with the company’s mission of ecological preservation and quality hospitality.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and oversee diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and operational skills for managing large-scale hospitality services.
- Experience in budget management, financial planning, and achieving business performance goals.
- Customer service and relationship management expertise, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the hospitality sector.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury resorts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local culture and languages is an added advantage.
