Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Manager – Operations who can manage and scale day-to-day loan operations while supporting process setup, compliance, and team management. The role requires strong execution capability with exposure to education loans, fee financing, or retail lending operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Operations Setup & Ownership
Set up and manage complete loan operations lifecycle – from login to disbursement and post-disbursement support.
Design and implement SOPs, process flows, control checks, and escalation matrices.
Build an operations framework that supports scale across products, partners, and geographies.
2. Loan Processing & Disbursement Management
Oversee KYC, document verification, agreement execution, E-sign, E-NACH, V-KYC, and disbursement processes.
Ensure timely and accurate disbursements to institutes/customers within defined TATs.
Coordinate closely with Credit, Finance, Sales, and Partner teams.
3. Compliance & Risk Control
Ensure all operations are compliant with RBI guidelines, NBFC norms, and internal policies.
Maintain audit-ready documentation, system hygiene, and strong process controls.
Act as SPOC for internal audits, external audits, and regulatory requirements.
4. Team Building & People Management
Hire, train, and manage Operations Executives / Team Leads.
Set KPIs, performance metrics, and productivity benchmarks for the ops team.
Create a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
5. Process Improvement & Automation
Identify process gaps, leakages, and inefficiencies; drive continuous process optimization.
Work with tech/LOS/LMS teams to improve system workflows, dashboards, and automation.
Reduce turnaround time (TAT), error rates, and rework.
6. MIS, Reporting & Governance
Own daily / weekly / monthly MIS covering logins, approvals, disbursements, pendencies, and TAT.
Provide business insights to leadership for decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy and transparency across operations.
7. Stakeholder & Partner Management
Act as key operations SPOC for institutes, EdTech partners, channel partners, and internal teams.
Resolve escalations related to documentation, disbursement delays, and operational bottlenecks.
Support business growth by enabling smooth backend operations.
Key Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in NBFC / Fintech / Banking operations.
- Strong working knowledge of loan processing, KYC, documentation, and disbursement.
- Experience with LOS/LMS systems.

- Detail-oriented with ability to manage volumes and deadlines.
