Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Project Lead – Commercial Interior Fitouts. The Project Lead oversees end-to-end project execution for commercial interior fitouts, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and subcontractors to ensure delivery aligned with design intent and quality standards. The role includes coordinating with architects, designers, and clients, creating and tracking project plans and milestones, and ensuring adherence to QC processes and site safety norms. The Operations Manager monitors site progress, resolves execution challenges, and provides regular status updates using technology-backed reporting tools. This role also involves optimizing workflows, mentoring site teams, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and vendor performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in project and operations management for commercial interior fitouts, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Strong skills in site coordination and vendor management, with the ability to oversee civil, MEP, finishes, and custom millwork execution.
- Proficiency in using project management and reporting tools, with comfort in technology-backed tracking and documentation.
- Understanding of quality-control processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements for interior construction projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with architects, designers, clients, and site teams.
- Ability to analyze risks, troubleshoot on-site issues, and make sound decisions under time and budget constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field; relevant certifications in project management are an advantage.
- Prior experience in design-led commercial interiors or fitout companies in Bengaluru or similar markets will be beneficial.
