uptaste is a food-tech startup headquartered in Ahmedabad, specializing in providing delicious, high-quality, healthy, and fresh meals on demand. Customers can easily place orders through the uptaste app (iOS/Android) or whataspp/call, selecting their preferred time slots for delivery. The company operates entirely in-house, managing its own kitchen, delivery team, and online ordering platform to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations across uptaste’s cloud kitchen and delivery services. Responsibilities include managing kitchen workflows, coordinating with the delivery team, streamlining logistics, implementing best practices for operational efficiency, monitoring food quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer satisfaction goals and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in operations management, supply chain, and logistics
- Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in process optimization, quality control, and performance monitoring
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven experience in the food-tech, hospitality, or cloud kitchen industry is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Food Services, or a related field
