We are looking to hire an Operations Manager. The Operations team manages the logistics for all learning programs, in-person as well as virtual. The team’s key objective is to ensure the smooth delivery of the learning programs.
We are seeking an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Vendor Management: Identifying, negotiating, and onboarding vendors to support operational needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Logistics Coordination: Managing logistics for in-person programs, including travel, accommodations, and procurement of necessary toolkits/props, in collaboration with venue teams and external vendors.
- Toolkit & Prop Development: Planning and overseeing the development of toolkits and props for in-person programs, ensuring timely delivery and vendor coordination as needed.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with internal teams such as Experience Design (content research and curation), Visual Design, Client Engagement, Facilitator Management, and Finance to execute tasks effectively.
- Office Administration: Overseeing administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Project & Deliverable Management: Taking ownership of the timely delivery of both external and internal deliverables.
- Team Leadership: Setting clear expectations, delegating tasks, and ensuring on-time execution while fostering team efficiency.
- This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and experience in vendor negotiations and procurement.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing operational aspects across virtual and in-person program environments.
Preferred experience/qualifications for the role -
- Up to 3-5 years of Operations experience in people management role, preferably in event management, hospitality, training/coaching companies, or working in the Learning & Development/Education space
- Interested in working in a fast-paced start-up and ability to manage uncertainties
- Proficient in local languages
- This is an in-person role based out of Bangalore.
