Role Description:
We are seeking an Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Jayanagar, Bangalore. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, manage staff scheduling, and maintain service efficiency. Responsibilities include inventory management, optimizing workflow processes, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers. The role also entails monitoring budgets, addressing customer feedback, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Operations Manager will work directly with the leadership team to identify opportunities for improving operations
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage full cafe operations for 60 covers.
• Handle hiring, rostering, attendance, and performance reviews for staff.
• Recruit and train service staff, baristas, and kitchen support.
• Use POS systems and aggregator dashboards (Swiggy, Zomato, EazyDiner).
• Track sales, costs, inventory, and staff via Excel.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Control inventory, reduce waste, and optimise food costs.
• Plan in-cafe events, workshops, and collaborations.
• Organize external pop-up events.
• Drive upselling, menu engineering, and sales strategies.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain hygiene, FSSAI standards, and SOPs.
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Experienced in cafe or casual dining (30–100 pax).
• Strong leadership and hands-on floor presence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; Kannada/Hindi preferred.
• Thrives in fast-paced startup environments.
• Ownership mindset with attention to detail.
