Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across supply chain, production, and fulfillment. This role involves coordinating with farmers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure consistent product quality, timely procurement, and efficient inventory management. The Operations Manager will monitor workflows, optimize processes, and implement standard operating procedures to support scalability and regulatory compliance. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product, finance, and customer service to align operations with business goals and ensure smooth execution of orders and distribution. The role also includes tracking operational KPIs, managing budgets, supervising onsite staff, and resolving operational issues to maintain a high-performance, safety-conscious workplace.
Qualifications
- Strong operations and supply chain management skills, including experience with inventory control, production planning, and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in process improvement and quality assurance, with the ability to develop SOPs, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management abilities, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical and organizational skills, with experience using data, KPIs, and basic business tools (e.g., spreadsheets, ERP or inventory systems) to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with farmers, suppliers, internal teams, and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or a related field; relevant industry experience in FMCG, wellness, or agribusiness is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi and travel as needed to operational locations; comfort working in a fast-paced, growing startup environment.
- Knowledge of hemp or wellness products, and an interest in sustainable, natural health solutions would be beneficial.
