Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day construction and interior project activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, site engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to plan resources, schedule work, and resolve operational issues promptly. The role will monitor project progress, implement standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for optimizing workflows, tracking costs, preparing reports for leadership, and supporting continuous improvement in operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong operations and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Experience in construction or interior fit-out operations, with familiarity in site coordination, vendor management, and quality control.
- Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Proficiency with project management and productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, project scheduling software); exposure to construction management tools is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on safety, compliance, and sustainability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, construction management) are a plus.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role and the ability to mentor and guide site and support teams.
