Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily transportation and logistics operations of our Thane location. This is an on-site role that involves supervising and coordinating transportation schedules, managing warehouse activities, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The Operations Manager will work closely with different teams to enhance efficiency and uphold client satisfaction. Responsibilities also include analyzing operational performance, resolving challenges, and implementing process improvements to drive growth and success within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation operations.
  • Strong skills in team management, leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in software systems such as JDE, Oracle, WMS, or SAP is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in logistics and transportation is desirable.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills to engage with clients and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with FMCG, chemical, or finished goods transportation is a plus.
