About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Operations Manager – International Travel to oversee and streamline end-to-end travel operations. The ideal candidate will manage international travel processes including visa coordination, ticketing, documentation, vendor management, and client servicing while ensuring compliance with global travel regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end international travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, insurance, forex, etc.)
- Ensure smooth execution of travel plans for clients/employees
- Handle escalations and resolve travel-related issues promptly
- Oversee visa application processes for multiple countries
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of travel documentation
- Stay updated with changing immigration and embassy regulations
- Coordinate with airlines, travel agencies, embassies, and service providers
- Negotiate pricing and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality
- Develop and implement SOPs for travel operations
- Identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain MIS reports and track KPIs
- Lead and mentor a team of travel coordinators/executives
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity
- Conduct training sessions for process improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Business Administration
- 3–5 years of experience in international travel operations
- Strong knowledge of visa processes, ticketing systems, and global travel norms
- Experience in handling corporate or immigration-based travel (preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and travel management tools
Preferred Background
- Experience with companies selling domestic or international travel packages
- Exposure to startup or fast-paced environments
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and handle confidential information
