Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly professional and experienced Operations Manager with over 10 years of expertise in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities and comprehensive, end-to-end knowledge of manufacturing operations, with a focus on driving efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production, planning, quality, and dispatch
- Ensure smooth day-to-day plant operations with a focus on productivity and cost control
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor and optimize production schedules and resource utilization
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, quality, and logistics
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports using Excel to track performance metrics
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Lead and manage teams effectively, ensuring discipline and high performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc. – if applicable)
Key Requirements- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Strong end-to-end knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel (MIS reporting, data analysis, dashboards)
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Professional attitude with the ability to handle responsibilities effectively
- Ability to work in a high-pressure operational environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Skills- Experience in process optimization and cost reduction
- Knowledge of ERP systems (if applicable)
- Exposure to compliance and audit processes
