Company Description
Help Your Heroes (HYH) is a mission-driven initiative focused on supporting India’s defence personnel and veterans through healthcare, institutional partnerships, and operational support programs.
We are looking for a Manager – Operations based in Pune to support the execution of on-ground initiatives, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure smooth operational management of projects.
This role will report to the Director – Operations (India).
Key Responsibilities
1. Support operational planning and execution of projects and initiatives in Pune
2. Coordinate with hospitals, institutional partners, vendors, and volunteers
3. Assist in managing logistics, documentation, and project tracking
4. Ensure timely execution of operational tasks and field activities
5. Support reporting and updates to the Director – Operations (India)
6. Manage vendor coordination and operational administration
7. Assist with local stakeholder engagement and coordination
Candidate Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in an operations function in any industry
2. Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, social impact, or project operations will be preferred
3. Strong organisational and coordination skills
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
5. Self-driven and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
6. Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
Work Structure
1. Hybrid role – Work from home, office, and project locations as required
2. No overtime requirement
3. Travel expenses for work-related activities will be reimbursed
4. Reasonable miscellaneous expenses may be reimbursed at the discretion of the Director – Operations
Compensation
1. INR 3,00,000 per year (consultancy contract)
2. Performance Review Structure
3. After 6 months, a performance review will be conducted
4. Based on the performance score, remuneration may be revised up to 20%
5. Future Employment Opportunity
6. After 12 months, the role may be converted to full-time employment, subject to:
