Role Description
We are seeking an Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site position located in Salem. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring effective logistics management and optimal resource allocation. Responsibilities include managing delivery operations, supervising supply chain efficiency, leading a team of delivery personnel, coordinating with clients to maintain service quality, and addressing operational challenges. This role includes performance tracking and improving operational processes to ensure adherence to logistics strategies and objectives.
Qualifications
- Operations Management and Logistics expertise, with experience in managing supply chain and delivery systems
- Strong Leadership and Team Management skills, with an ability to mentor and guide operational teams effectively
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills, with a focus on utilizing data for strategic planning and improvements
- Proficiency in using Operations Management tools and software for reporting and process tracking
- Excellent Communication, Coordination, and Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Organizational and Time-Management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Background in the logistics, transportation, or e-commerce industry is an advantage
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making
