This role of an operations Manager based in Mumbai, with strong expertise in Freight Forwarding (Sea & Road), Warehousing Operations, and Dangerous Goods (DG) handling, is extremely focused on optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting our growing freight forwarding and warehousing network.

🔹 What You Will Own
Dangerous Goods Operations
- DG packing, handling, segregation & regulatory compliance
- IMDG / transport regulation adherence
- Emergency procedures & DG documentation
Freight Forwarding (Sea & Road)
- Full import/export cycle management
- Coordination with carriers, CHAs, shipping lines & customs
- BL, BOE, MSDS, DG declarations & documentation accuracy
- Smooth shipment movement and clearance
Warehousing Operations
- End-to-end warehouse supervision (inbound, outbound, storage)
- DG storage compliance, inventory accuracy, and safety standards
- WMS discipline and warehouse optimization
Process Excellence & Team Leadership
- Strengthen SOPs and optimize workflows
- Guide and support operations teams on-ground
- Collaborate with internal functions to improve efficiency
- Address client requirements with accuracy and service focus
🔹 What We Need
- Strong experience in freight forwarding + warehousing
- Experience in freight forwarding, warehousing, and DG handling
- Knowledge of DG regulations for sea/road transport
- Strong operational management, compliance & auditing skills
- Experience in customs coordination and logistics documentation
- Excellent communication & coordination abilities
- Proficiency with operational and project management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
🔸 DG Certification – Mandatory
If you are not DG certified, you will undergo training through our institute. Failure to clear the DG exam after required attempts will be grounds for removal.
