Operations Manager
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the smooth running the factory operations on a day-to-day basis. The candidate will be responsible for:
· Production Planning and overseeing actual production in a timely manner
· Following-up with Suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
· Manage day-to-day factory operations and improve production output and costs
· Find right processes and machinery-tools to develop new products
· Ensuring all departments are following processes and documenting as per ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
· Monitor employees and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement.
· Manage supply chain processes, including inventory, production and sourcing.
· Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products.
· Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, and training.
· Help compliance with various quality standards and quality needs.
· Working closely with the senior management to execute development and production plans
· Handling customers and auditors who come for factory Audits
· Continuous improvements in team response times and performance
Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a minimum 5 years’ experience. The candidate should be smart, have strong logic and problem-solving skills, sound engineering fundamentals and team management experience. The candidate should be well versed with manufacturing processes like Casting, Forging, CNC machining, VMC machining, etc. The candidate should be hard working and have good communication skills. The candidate MUST be able to clearly communicate in English (Oral and Written), Hindi (Oral).
THE JOB REQUIRES THE CANDIDATE TO WORK AT OUR FACTORY IN JAMNAGAR. THE CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO JAMNAGAR.
