Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for industrial flooring projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with site teams and contractors. The Operations Manager will monitor project progress, ensure quality standards and safety protocols are met, and manage timelines and budgets to achieve successful delivery. The role involves regular communication with clients to understand requirements, provide status updates, and address operational issues or improvements. Additional responsibilities include optimizing processes, supervising inventory and equipment usage, supporting team development, and preparing operational reports for management.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management skills, including project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Experience in construction or industrial flooring environments, with understanding of concrete flooring systems and on-site workflows.
- Skills in quality control, safety compliance, and process improvement to maintain high operational standards.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills for working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and use basic project management tools or software.
- Proven leadership abilities, team supervision experience, and capacity to make decisions under time-sensitive conditions.
- Relevant educational background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Willingness to work on-site at project locations in and around Bengaluru and travel as required.
